NASA unveiled a new image of the dwarf planet Ceres, “it was nothing, that the human race has ever seen.”
In addition, a dwarf planet, Ceres is the largest known asteroid, with a diameter of closer to 600 kilometres. It also contains the largest mountain, the largest known asteroid in the solar system, Ahuna Mons, which rises more than 13,000 feet. It is not clear what, exactly, is the cause of the formation of the Ahuna Mountains, the slopes are decorated with vertical stripes, but the space agency has developed a new theory.
In the new theory, on the basis of numerous measurements of the force of gravity, that is, a bubble out of mud, rose, deep within the dwarf planet and is forced to the ice surface at a weak point, a rich, reflective, salt — and-freeze,” NASA said in a statement.

THE MYSTERIOUS MASS WAS DISCOVERED ON THE MOON, BAFFLES THE SCIENTISTS ” WHAT IT IS, WHERE IT COMES FROM,’
By way of comparison, the highest mountain on Earth, Mt Everest rises 29,029 feet.
“In this region, in the interior of the asteroid Ceres, it is not solid and rigid, but moving, and at least part of the liquid,” Wladimir Neumann from the DLR Institute of Planetary Research in Berlin-Adlershof and at the University of Münster, said in a statement. “This ‘bubble’ that is created in the mantle of Ceres, under the Ahuna Mons, is a mix of salt, water, and rock components.”
The study, which was published in the journal Nature Geoscience.
PEOPLE ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE SAFE FROM A CATASTROPHIC ASTEROID STRIKE, FOR NOW
Ceres is the largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, was first spotted by Giuseppe Piazzi in 1801. In 2015, it is the first dwarf planet to be visited by a spacecraft, NASA wrote in a separate description of the asteroid Ceres.
The visualization is based on data from the Dawn of the day, it’s still a trajectory of Ceres, but it has run out of fuel and is effectively dead.
In 2017, when She has found the building blocks of life on the dwarf planet, and the spotting of biological molecules, and the one that appeared on Ceres, and an asteroid or comet strike.
