Naked California man who allegedly tried to entice boy, 11, in a car being pursued by police

California authorities were searching Sunday for a man who allegedly exposed himself to an 11-year-old boy and tried to put him in his car in a parking lot.

The incident took place in the Center on the night of Oct. 17, according to police. A woman and her son were sitting in their car when the boy stepped out of the car.

As an 11-year-old was standing in the parking lot, a woman and a man in a car approached him and the local police department said in a news release Friday. “The man was completely naked and tried to get the child’s attention by waving him to go to his car,” the researchers said.

Researchers have been looking for in a man and a woman in their 40’s or 50’s, who reportedly tried to lure an 11-year-old boy in his vehicle in a Glendale, Calif., on Oct. 17.

“They put in their car next to mine, and to hunker down and tried to get him to call out to their car,” the boy’s mother, told KCBS-TV. When the boy’s mother saw what was happening, “she yelled at the man and the woman, and they drove off into the parking lot and out of sight.”

“My son once, and he started to cry. It was terrible, you know?” the child’s father. “They had intent in their mind, and I’m very pleased to see that they don’t understand.”

Dashboard camera footage released by the police, and caught a glimpse of the man and the woman, who allegedly tried to pick up the child. The man is described as in his 40s or 50s with white or gray hair, the woman has been described as similar in age, with dark, shoulder-length hair.

The investigators described the vehicle as 1999-2006, grey or silver BMW X5, and the family is of the opinion that the license plate contained the letters “L-M-N” OR “L-N-g-M.”
