Nadal and Federer more than six years old again number one and two of the world

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer on Monday published world rankings for the first time in over six years, the number one and two.

The 31-year-old Nadal, who on Sunday in the US Open final was too strong for Kevin Anderson (6-3, 6-3, and 6-4), it remains the number one. The five-year-old Federer, in New York off in the quarter-finals, increased from the third to the second place.

Andy Murray, who injured afmeldde for the US Open, fell one spot and is the new number three, followed by Alexander Zverev (from six to four) and Marin Cilic (seven to five).

Twaalfvoudig Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic, who for quite some time, injured, on the side, and this year is no longer in action, sixth. It is for the first time since may 2007 that the 30-year-old Djokovic is not among the global top five belongs to.

Robin Haase is on the new ATP ranking at the 39th place. The 30-year-old Hagenaar, who at the US Open not by the first lap, dropped down four places.

Haase is the only Dutchman in the top hundred. He is followed by Tallon Griekspoor, who by his semi-final at the challengertoernooi in Alphen aan den Rijn 64 places profit-making. The 21-year-old Griekspoor is now the global number 279.

Sloane Stephens, the surprise US Open winner, made a giant leap. The 24-year-old American rose 66 places and is now the global number seventeen. Losing finalist Madison Keys rose from sixteenth to twelfth place.
