Musical series of La La Land-the director will broadcast by Netflix
The Eddy, the musical series that is created by director Damien Chazelle, will show through the streamingsdienst Netflix.
It reports Rolling Stone. Chazelle will be the first two episodes of the eight-part series directing.
The Eddy, which revolves around the ups and downs of a house band in a Parisian nightclub, will also include original music. Writer and producer Glen Ballard, who previously worked at Bath from Michael Jackson and the Jagged Little Pill singer Alanis Morissette, the soundtrack of the Netflix series are going to compose.
The series will also be in Paris to be included. Chazelle, who at the beginning of this year’s Oscar for best director (La La Land) took home, let in a statement to know “that it’s always been a dream of mine has been in Paris filming”.
The Eddy will both dialogues in French, English and Arabic. It is not yet known when the series is and who the main characters are going to play.
Chazelle (32) wrote and directed the music film La La Land, and the drama Whiplash. Both films received Oscar nominations. He is the youngest director ever of the Oscar for best director has won.
He is currently working on First Man. That is a biopic about the life of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon. He does that again together with his La La Land-actor Ryan Gosling, who is the astronaut going to play in the film.
