Much awaited decision on future Wenger after FA Cup final
The board of Arsenal takes a short time after the final of the FA Cup on may 27 a decision on whether or not to tenure of coach Arsène Wenger.
“I don’t know what the outcome will be,” said the 67-year-old Striker on Friday at his press conference in the run-up to the last round in the Premier League. “The board will have more affairs to take a decision and one of them is what to do with the manager.”
Wenger since 1996 and coach of the London club, and his contract ends after this season. The Frenchman has the ‘Gunners’ in the last decade, relatively few successes delivered.
The last time Arsenal became champion in 2004. The supporters were mainly the second half of the season know that they have the confidence in Wenger to spend. The coach was not out yet about his future.
Arsenal had the last few weeks, however, a resurgence and is still in the race for a ticket for the Champions League. Everton is Sunday, the last opponent in the Premier League. Six days later, the FA Cup final at Wembley against defending champion Chelsea.
