More than 90 premieres at Dutch Film Festival

During the 36th edition of the Dutch Film Festival (NFF) in Utrecht, going to movies and documentaries will premiere.
The festival opens Wednesday with the world premiere of The Hero, the film adaptation of the literary thriller of Jessica Durlacher.
In total there are on the NFF 321 titles, including feature films, documentaries, short films and tv dramas. In addition, the event, another hundred video clips, games and interactive projects.
The organisation this year, more than ever, to the general public, with more premieres that are accessible for everyone in the presence of cast and crew. According to a spokeswoman people think often that that are only meant for vips.
“The NFF to select the best of their own soil in all its diversity. It shows, and questions and discusses this ten days long with the creators and the audience,” says the organization.
The festival lasts until Friday, september 30. On that last day, traditionally the award ceremony of the Golden Calves place in the Beatrix Theatre in Utrecht. Prizes will be awarded in eighteen categories, as the best Dutch film director, screenwriter, actor and actress. The gala is directly seen by the VPRO on NPO 3.
