More and more foreign tourists to Rotterdam
Foreign tourists visit increasingly Rotterdam. In the first five months of this year increased the number of foreign visitors in hotels by 20 per cent, of has 167,000 to 201.000 guests.

Lonely Planet named Rotterdam “one of the most exciting cities” and “an open-air museum for modern and contemporary architecture”. The Rough Guide put the city a year earlier in the top 10.
The recommendations miss their effect in the foreign country, thus Struijvenberg. “We are as a city, absolutely in the picture. The growth rates are excellent and show a steady way up.”
