Moonlight-director Barry Jenkins announces new film
Barry Jenkins, the director of the Oscar-winning movie the Moonlight, a new film announced.
The director will be the novel If Beale Street Could Talk by the writer James Baldwin go film them.
That reports the Hollywood Reporter.
The story of the book takes place in 1974, in the New York district of Harlem, where the newly betrothed couple Fonny and Tish lives. When Fonny is falsely accused of rape, the pregnant Tish everything to prove his innocence.
The pictures for If Beale Street Could Talk will be in October. It is not yet known which actors will play a role in the film.
