Three people have been killed during a shoot-out in a Montana casino, early Tuesday, and the suspected gunman was killed by police an hour later, officials said.

The shooting happened at about 2 o’clock in the Emerald City Casino Great Falls the Great Falls Police Department said in a statement.

Police, emergency responders found the three victims inside the casino upon arrival. The gunman was killed by police, just before 6 o’clock in the morning in a residential area, a mile away from the casino, according to police.

“The response from the Great Falls Police Department was almost instantly,” Great Falls Police department Superintendent Tom Moore told the Great Falls Tribune.

The identity of the suspect, and a motive for the shooting have not been released. An elementary school in the neighborhood where the suspect was killed, cancelled classes and organized a holiday concert.

Four people were injured in the shooting, was to restore the Benefits to the Hospital from his injuries, according to police.

A hospital spokesman told The Associated Press, the victim was in a stable condition. The shooting is being investigated by local and federal officials.
