Monica Lewinsky, the former “Catfish” co-host, Max Joseph, have been working together for a new documentary film about the impact of public shaming

Lewinsky was set up to produce the documentary for the HBO / Max, next to Joseph, who was previously the host of the MTV documentary series for seven seasons. The documentary, which is entitled “15 Minutes of Shame” takes an in-depth look at the culture of shaming, and how it affected and high-profile people all over the world.

According to Deadline, the film will be from the documentary and digital storytelling, and social experimentation, and the study of social behavior examining the topics from all over the world, which have been the subject of public ridicule.

“Monica Lewinsky is an anti-bullying activist with an unprecedented level of authority to make her the perfect partner for this project,” said Sarah Aubrey, the head of the original content on the HBO and Max (via The Hollywood Reporter). “And there is a strong call for social justice, and the distinctive stories that make it particularly well suited to exploring this complex, contemporary phenomenon.”

Ever since he was a leading political figure, former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment over his sexual relationship while he was in the White House, Lewinsky has an anti-bullying advocate. She went on to work with campaigns, such as In Real Life, and on the Face of it’s Name. In March, she appeared on John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight” for a segment about the public shaming and the effect it has had on her life.

This is the first large-scale project that Lewinsky will be producing in the next few months. She has already been confirmed as a producer on Ryan Murphy’s upcoming third season of “American Crime Story.” The anthology series, which had previously been dramatised in the famous O. J. Simpson case and the murder of the famous fashion designer Gianni Versace, will center on the scandal that led to Clinton’s impeachment hearings in the mid – ‘ 90s.

Lewinsky infamously had an affair with Clinton, while she was a White House intern. She is played by actress, Beanie Feldstein, the younger sister of Jonah Hill is well-known for her parts in “Lady Bird,” and “Advantage.”
