“Once you break down the negative impact that social media can have, you will find this incredibly funny people openly talk about things that we’re often too ashamed to admit it, and yet it is more often than not, completely relatable,” she tells Fox News, adding that her post is not to ask commenters to make their own ‘funny’ stories.
“I love how the post has led to a lot of women together in realizing we are all beautiful, regardless of the size of our company. My main goal with my blog will always be to make people laugh and to show them that they really not only. I think I’ve achieved that on this occasion.”
Laura originally posted the photo to Facebook on Jan. 5 in response to a viral bikini ad from Australia, Beginning Boutique, which featured a model wearing the brand 9.0 Heron bikini bottoms, which are currently selling for $39.95 AUS, or about $29.
