Mobile data usage in the Netherlands with 63 percent

Dutch smartphone users last year 63 percent more data is consumed than the year before.
This is evident from the Telecommonitor 2016 by the Authority Consumer & Market.
In the whole of 2016, there was a total of 185 billion MB, according to the research. In 2015, it was 113 billion MB. The amount of sent SMS messages according to the Authority Consumer & Market has declined.
Data takes already for several years. The researchers speak of an increase of 500 percent compared with 2013. From quarterly figures earlier this year showed that mobile data usage in the Netherlands had grown.
The Authority Consumer & Market implies that consumers are increasingly larger internetbundels exit. There would be in the Netherlands, more connections are used by internet of things devices. In 2016, there were 4 million special sim cards to become active in the Netherlands.
