‘Mob actor Frank Vincent died

The American actor Frank Vincent is Wednesday at the age of 78 died during open-heart surgery in a hospital in New Jersey, reports TMZ. Vincent played in his career a lot of gangsterrollen. He was seen in ‘Goodfellas’, ‘Raging Bull’ and the series ‘The Sopranos.’

Steven Van Zandt, who also stars in the maffiaserie The Sopranos, tweet ‘proud that I did with him played him a friend should call.’

Frank Vincent was one of director Martin Scorsese‘s favorite actors. So he starred in ‘Raging Bull’, ‘Goodfellas’ and ‘Casino’, each time in addition to Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci.

In the HBO series The Sopranos, which tells the story of the family of Tony Soprano, plays Vincent the role of Phil Leotardo, the head of one of the ‘competing’ families. ‘Never will we see the Leotardo-legacy forgotten. Rest in peace HBO legend, Frank Vincent, posted HBO on the microblogsite.

James Gandolfini, Tony Soprano, played, died in 2013 at age 51 of a heart attack during a vacation in Rome.
