Mitch McConnell campaign criticized for the photos of the grave stones with The name

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., prior to criticism from his Democratic Challenger according to his campaign, a photo Saturday of a tombstone-shaped sign display tweeted listed with your name and the other Democrats with a date of death, such as the 2020 election.

The photo was taken at a campaign event in Fancy-Farm, Ky and was accompanied by the Text: “The grim Reaper of socialism in #fancy farm today. #FancyFarm139.”

Among the five tombstones Democratic opponents were using the name of McConnell, Amy McGrath, to read that “R. I. P. Amy McGrath, 3. November 2020.”

The other is the name of Merrick Garland, the Supreme Court nominee to former President Barack Obama appears. His nomination was blocked by McConnell, leaving the seat to designate open for President, trump, the conservative justice.

Others show the words “socialism” and the “Green New Deal”, the ambitious climate protection plan put forward Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez-New York.

McGrath, a former Marine combat aviator, found the photo disturbing, considering it hours came after an armed man killed at least 22 people at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas.

“Hours after the El Paso shooting, Mitch McConnell tweeted proud of this photo. I find it so annoying that our politics have become so nasty and personally is the fact that the Senate majority Leader thinks it is appropriate, use pictures, the death of a political opponent (me), such as messaging,” she tweeted in response.

“It is symptomatic of what is wrong with our system. I’m fine with the usual UPS and downs of politics, but that seems to me to be beyond the pale,” McGrath said in a follow-up tweet.

A few hours after the El Paso mass shootings, a gunman killed nine people in Dayton, Ohio.

McConnell’s office did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.
