Missouri police arrested a man who kept journal entries of his stolen items.
After the arrest of a Missouri man who signed his alleged theft in a magazine, authorities filled in his last entry: “02/06/2019 Arrested Muahahaha,” said a image of the department.
The offbeat arrest was featured in the Ballwin Police “Weekly Roundup” report on Monday. A photo of the suspicious magazine, together with the police, the item was placed on the department’s Facebook page.
The suspect-who was not identified– was Wednesday arrested after the agents “saw him and his backpack full of alcohol, tinkling down on the pavement,” police said. He was later identified as the “serial thief” mentioned in earlier raids, “who keeps a diary of his crimes” and has stolen alcohol from the local business community.
