Missouri deputy comes to the aid skunk

HILLSBORO, Mo. – Enforcement of the law can be a dangerous job, but a brave deputy from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is faced with a different kind of danger Tuesday morning.

According to the sheriff’s office, Cpl. with Jason Clardy saw a skunk wander outside the headquarters with a yogurt cup stuck on its head.

No one wanted to risk being sprayed by the animal, but Clardy took his chances to save the critter from its predicament.

Clardy managed to get to the cup off the skunk’s head and avoid being sprayed.
