Missing Alabama woman found murdered, buried in a well; 2 arrested

The body of a young Alabama woman reported missing more than a month ago, was restored on Monday at a well.

The discovery of the 20-year-old Mark “Willoe” Watkins’ body in Tuscaloosa, Ala., also resulted in the arrest of two men on murder charges, according to the report.

Watkins was reported missing June 15 by her grandmother, according to the Birmingham News, which also reported that they had ever been involved in the high school parade

Her alleged killers, Kendal, Tyler Battles, 29, and Joseph, of Brandon, Mist, 20, were also charged with abuse of a corpse, of Fox 6 In Birmingham has been reported.

“We have to believe that Watkins was one of the suspect’s houses in the 20000 block of Tanya Drive in Tuscaloosa County, when she was attacked and put to death,” Tuscaloosa County’s Violent crime Unit assistant commander, Capt. Kip Hart said, according to the News. “The suspects then drove her to the address on Walker Lane and has to get rid of the body.”

The researchers believe that, at the time of the disappearance that she had been murdered, according to the paper.

Authorities said her mother was bludgeoned to death four years ago by three friends who wanted to have access to her boyfriend’s food with the stamps, the paper reported. The friends will face capital murder charges.

“She grew up hard, as in hard to live around a lot of drugs,” Lori Hudgins said of Watkins, her brother, according to reports.

“When you’re around that, it’s life, it’s easy to fall into. They wanted to do a better job, but she got involved with some bad people, and they could not get away from them,” she said.
