Researchers have discovered that the body of the Alabama Army Reserves soldier who was missing during a training in Camp Blanding in Florida.
The search began in the Spc. Calyn McLemore is not back from the exercise, as planned, on Wednesday, according to reports.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported Friday night that the body was found in the woods and that the cause of death has not been determined.
“Calyn was a gifted and motivated soldier, and his loss will no doubt be felt deeply by his family, friends, unity and community,” Camp Blanding Joint Training Center said on Facebook.

The Florida National Guard said McLemore was taking part in a land navigation course, Fox 13 Tampa reported.
McLemore was in uniform and equipped with a navigation instrument, a map and some basic food and water, the Florida Times-Union reported.
The researchers found a number of his cast-off, acceleration, such as paperwork and a tool for finding navigation points, according to the paper.
“The conditions are very difficult these last few days, especially the circumstances now,” the newspaper quoted Sgt. Keith Smith of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said.
