Anderlecht is Monday, hard punished by the Belgian football association. Misconduct on the part of the fans of the football club in the match with Standard Liege has led to a match without audience, a fine of 5,000 euros and a regulatory defeat.
The Anderlecht-supporters misdroeg earlier this month on a visit to the Hatch by three times, fireworks on the field to throw. The duel was in a 2-0 gap discontinued and is as expected not played.
Anderlecht agree with the penalty and the defeat, but not with the competition without the audience. ‘Purple-White’ has fifteen days to appeal to the Belgian Court of arbitration for Sport (BAS).
The duel with the Standard was for Fred Rutten his last as a trainer of Anderlecht. The former coach of FC Twente, PSV, Vitesse and Feyenoord was only three months in service and had a poor series with the Belgian club.
Since the resignation of Rutten is still not much better. Under interim coach Karim Belhocine was on Sunday with a 1-0 loss to Club Brugge. Anderlecht is only fifth in the kampioenspoule.

A lot of turmoil around Anderlecht
It is on multiple fronts restless at Anderlecht, where the police Wednesday, a raid was made in an investigation into the possible money laundering and other criminal practices in transfers. The training centre and the stadium were searched.
The study was separate from ‘Operation Clean Hands’, in October began a large scale investigation into corruption in Belgian football.
That operation led at the end of last year to the arrest of more than twenty people, including referees, two coaches, agents and (ex-)board members due to criminal activities.
