Miranda Lambert says she’s in a comfort zone with her weight, after she struggled with the ups-and-downs’

Miranda Lambert-love the skin they’re in.

The 36-year-old Grammy-winning singer gave a candid interview with Health magazine about her journey to self-acceptance.

“I’ve been with all shapes and sizes. My whole life I have struggled with the ups and downs in terms of weight,” she told the outlet. “I’m only 5’4″, the weight will quickly be on me.”

However, Lambert noted that they finally got a hit, and a comfortable place to be.”

“This is pretty much my size,” she said. “I’m a size 6, give or take five pounds depending on the day.”

“It is a great place to find it,” and the “Wild” singer continued. “I don’t think it’s fun to be on stage, have to worry about my body. That’s the last thing I want is to have to think about it. I don’t give my best performance whenever I get distracted by my insecurities.”

When asked about the moment that inspired her to stop being concerned about the way in which she viewed her own body, and Lambert told me of an interaction she had with a young fan.

“There was a time when I wasn’t happy with the way I looked, but I’m happy with where I was at in my career, so I was like, ‘I’ll worry about it later,'” she recalled. “I had a girl come up to me. She was probably about my age and size, and, as she said, “I want you to know that I threw my scale away, because of you, because you’re so confident about it. I came to realize that my weight is not the scale of it, and that’s the way I feel about myself.’

“It gave me the confidence to be like, ‘What a state you are in, you’ve gotta rock,'” Lambert explains.

Her day to day routine, the star said she doesn’t have a rhyme or reason” to her exercise and diet choices.

“I’ve been on every diet,” Lambert shared. “Each and every time, when I was doing low-carb, I am going to win [the weight] back so soon.

“Sometimes, I have had a few weeks where I was just drinking beer and eating cheeseburgers. And then, I’ll go, ” That was fun, but my stuff doesn’t fit,” she admitted. “Then I will be over in a month, doing Pilates or riding a lot and running. I am not a runner, but I’m trying to be one.”

Lambert revealed that her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, “some”, joins in on her in turn.

“He’s doing too bad to run it with me, and then he will be true to the run,” Lambert said of her, the NYPD officer beau. “It’s sad to say goodbye.”

“To this day, I’m just trying to feel good about myself and know that I’m trying. And if there is wine and cheese, and sometimes I have it,” she added.
