Minute’s silence for Spain during fireworks Scheveningen
During the International fireworks festival in Scheveningen (try the Spanish team the title of ‘most beautiful landenvuurwerk’ to continue. Prior to the show from Spain is Saturday a minute’s silence observed for the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils.
The team from Valencia will close Saturday the 38th edition of the event. The jury viewed the fireworks display from the terrace of the famous Kurhaushotel.
Despite the not too good weather – it is raining and the wind is blowing pretty hard – there is a lot of people at the fireworks festival down. How many visitors are, is still unknown. The opening night, last week, attracted over 85,000 visitors, 5000 more than the first evening of the previous edition.
The fireworks in the air in from a floating pontoon that at almost 300 metres from the coast. Defending champion Spain will close the festival on Saturday, together with the vuurwerkteam from Portugal. Then the winner will be announced.
