A Minnesota man is facing a charge of second-degree murder after a 75-year-old bus passenger, who he was reportedly attacked last week died from his injuries.

Leroy Davis-Miles, 23, of Minneapolis was charged with felony assault in connection with the Nov. 6 fight, which took place in the city of Chicago-Lake Transit Center, and FOX 9 in Minneapolis-St. Paul reported.

Surveillance footage shows elderly passengers at Davis-Miles and the others to lower their voices, and the group is responding by threatening to attack the man, and after he gets out of the bus, according to the report.

After the man fell, Davis Miles, shaking hands with his friends “in a promising fashion,” but a number of the members of the group rummaged through the victim’s pockets as he lay unconscious on the ground, the Star Tribune of Minneapolis reported.

The police department told FOX 9 that the man was suffering from a serious head injury and died at 1:36 pm on Tuesday, becoming the 39th homicide victim of the year in Minneapolis.

She talks to the police and said that they were working with the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office to upgrade the charges at Davis-Miles).

The authorities have not announced the identity of the man who died.
