‘Millennial Christmas Traditions’ hashtag goes viral with new holiday rituals: ‘the Leaving of avocado toast for Santa

A viral hashtag on Twitter is tasking people from all generations come up with their own ideas for the “Thousand years of Christmas Traditions.”

The generational updates to this classic Christmas traditions are plenty of millennial stereotypes, such as avocado toast, man, sandwiches, craft drinks and gluten-free baking.

And sometimes, the tweets poked fun at industries millennials are to blame for the “kill”.

However, not all the tweets were light-hearted take on Christmas traditions – many of which brought to the financial burden faced millennials.

And other generations took shots at millennials for their often criticized “right”, and the sensitivity.
