Microsoft confirms thousands of layoffs in reorganization

Microsoft has confirmed that thousands of employees will dismiss. The company wants to focus more on sales of software via the cloud, instead of software across desktops and servers.
That reports The Verge. The reorganization was Monday already announced, but said Microsoft is still not fired. Now is this confirmed, is already being called the company for the time being no specific numbers.
The vast majority of the redundancies is likely within the sales department. It is expected that approximately ten percent of the employees within that division redundant. That may mean that there is five thousand redundancies.
