“Microsoft buys security company Hexadite for $ 100 million’

Microsoft is planning to cybersecuritybedrijf Hexadite to take over for an amount of $ 100 million.
That reports the Israeli business newspaper Calcalist on Wednesday on the basis of insiders. Hexadite is Boston-based, but has a research centre in Israel.
With the technology of Hexadite enables companies to automatically respond to cyber-attacks, and here, more efficient research to do. The software of the company is more focused on companies in the technology, retail and financial sector.
According to Calcalist work there are only 35 people Hexadite. The company received, inter alia deal of investment money from Hewlett Packard.
Sources of the Israeli newspaper previously stated that Microsoft also is planning to cloudstartup Cloudyn to buy, for $ 70 million. Also that acquisition is still not confirmed. Microsoft and Hexadite have not commented on the rumor.
