Disgraced gymnastics doctor sentenced for sexual conduct charges in Michigan.

The Michigan State University said Friday the plans of the fire of the former dean of the osteopathic medicine college and has been suspended radiology chairman in the wake of the former sports doctor Larry Nassar conviction for molesting young female athletes.

Interim President John Engler, said the first step has been taken to revoke the mandate of Dr. William Strampel, who until December headed the College of Holistic Medicine.

A Title IX probe is carried out by the university cleared Nassar of sexual assault allegations in 2014. He was advised by the school to avoid only with the patients during the treatment of their “sensitive areas”, but the school does not enforce its request. Last March, Strampel told a campus detective and an FBI agent that he did not follow, because the have of an attendant in the room for a sensitive exam, is “healthcare 101.”

Engler said that the university will not cover Strampel legal costs. Strampel has been sued by girls and women who are sexually abused by Nassar.

The school has also said Suresh Mukherji, chairman of the Department of Radiology and chief medical officer of the MSU HealthTeam, is suspended.

Mukherji also was interviewed in March as part of an investigation of the restrictions that were supposed to be on Nassar.

He said that he had been in the chain of command between Strampel and Nassar, but Strampel and another doctor did the biggest part of the day-to-day oversight and decision-making with regard to MSU Sports Medicine.

Recently, there is a special board appointed by the Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette asked the Michigan State for Strampel, the computer is at work, his work cell phone and work calendars. They also requested “all records” of a university investigation into the Nassar substances, including a review conducted by former Chicago federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald.

He was hired by the school and has said that no one knew that Nassar crimes.
