Actor Michael Douglas, was candid about his older relatives, including his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and father, Kirk Douglas.
The “Ant-Man” actor appeared on Thursday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where the host wished him a happy belated birthday. He turned 75 on Sept. 25, the same day as his wife celebrated her 50th.
“Catherine, my wife and I are both on the same day and year,” he said. “Five-and-twenty years apart from each other, on the same day, but who’s counting?”
He also spoke about his famous father, who turns 103 in December this year.

“It’s a younger bride and it makes me feel good, on the one hand,” Douglas said. “I’m the old man here, on the other hand, who still has a full head of hair.
He went on to say, “It’s all good. You can’t be an idiot about it. So, for 75, I’m looking at the 15-year-old in training, and if I still have my marbles, by the time I’m 90. After that, everything is made of gold.”
If they are in a family, it is becoming more and more important for the Douglas clan. In August, Michael’s son, Cameron, posted a photo to Instagram showing the several generations of all, to pose for a shot.
In the photo, highlights, Cameron, 40, and his 19-month-old daughter in Lua with a friend, Viviane Thibes, while the rest of the family for four generations, to be exact – sitting at the table.
Kirk is seen at the head of the table, with his signature on a pair of sunglasses. His wife, Anne Buydens, for 100, sitting a few seats away, in the neighborhood of Zeta-Jones.

When Michael was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in November, his father’s pride, was published in the front and in the middle to support it, People magazine is to be shared.
“It means a lot to me, dear Father, that you are here today you are,” the Oscar-winning actor said, tearing up during the ceremony. “Thank you very much for your advice, your inspiration, and I have to say it’s just with all of my heart,” I am so proud of you, son.'”

Kirk Douglas has been married to Buydens since 1954. When Fox News asked the couple the secret of their long marriage, in 2017, when the couple was in a no-nonsense attitude about their unconventional approach. While Buydens has to turn a blind eye to the infidelity of the couple, who have two sons, and is credited for date night, sparking the end of the book each and every day.
“Date night is the same as it is in marriage,” said Douglas. “We put in what we call the ‘golden hour’ together at around 6:30 each night. We’re going to sit there and talk and laugh and share our day and thoughts with each other.”
