Michael Cohen is going to prison after he pleaded guilty to fraud
President Trump’s former personal lawyer pleads to fraud, guilty of eight counts of tax evasion, the bank and the campaign to violence-rights-violations; chief White House correspondent John Roberts reports.
Before a plea deal in relation to campaign violations, as well as bank and tax Finance fraud, Michael Cohen was a trusted member of the Trump organization, personal lawyer and “fixer”, according to the President.
He helped raise millions of dollars for the Trump campaign, and once faithfully proclaimed, he has to solve “everything in [his] power” of each Problem for his boss.

Aug. 22 – trump bashes Cohen on social media

Aug. 21 – Cohen is pleading to indictments, guilty 8, implies Trump
Michael Cohen, the personal lawyer and “fixer”, who once said he would “put a bullet” for Donald Trump, struck a deal with the Prosecutor’s office guilty Tuesday to charges involving campaign Finance fraud, bank fraud and tax evasion. Cohen explained that he and Trump arranged, the payment of hush money to a porn-star Stormy Daniels, and a former Playboy model, to influence the election.

Cohen pleaded guilty to violating campaign Finance law and the tax evasion and false statements to a Bank.
Cohen was able to 65 years in prison, when all the costs convicted. However, as part of his plea deal, Cohen is not a challenge, each sentence between 46 and 63 months, agreed. The offer does not apply to a co-operation with the Federal public Prosecutor’s office.

Aug. 19 – Bank fraud investigation revealed in reports

He also reportedly told ABC he does not like the term “witch-hunt” – the Trump has used repeatedly to describe the Russia investigation, and said that he did not demonize agree with, “or to denigrate the FBI.”
20. June Cohen resigns from RNC post
Cohen resigned from his position as the deputy finance Chairman of the Republican National Committee, financial Committee, citing the ongoing investigation.
June 15 – Trump expresses confidence in Cohen
In an irritated exchange with reporters in front of the White house, Trump said that he is not “worried” because he “did nothing wrong.”
Trump also said that while he had not Cohen spoken in “a long time”, he thought, Cohen was a “good person”.

May 22 – Cohen, associate pleads guilty
Evgeny Friedman, known as the “taxi king” in New York, pleaded guilty to pocketing $5-million-passenger fees, which is supposed to Finance public transport. Friedman in a cab, managed to had a Cohen, according to The Washington Post.

Giuliani said, Politically, Cohen represented Trump as his personal lawyer.
“As far as we know, he’s not,” Giuliani said. “And there is for him nothing to do, just now.”
27. April – judge sets Stormy Daniels lawsuit on hold
Michael Cohen said he had planned to ask, the Fifth in the civil lawsuit against him by former adult film star Stormy Daniels.

A Federal judge decided that the lawsuit against Cohen, brought by Stormy Daniels on ice, for 90 days. Judge S. James Otero said he came to the decision, because the civil suit would likely overlap with the criminal investigation.

The FBI raided Cohen’s home, office and hotel room and confiscated documents relating to his finances, taxi companies, and payments to women who alleged Affairs with trump.
In particular, the investigators sought information about the 130.000 US-Dollar-payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels – whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, who claimed she had a one-time sexual encounter with Trump in 2006, while he was married to Melania. She claims she was paid by Cohen in the year of 2016, before the presidential elections.
Trump has denied the affair. The raid, he expressed his anger on social media, says: “attorney-client privilege is dead.”
