President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, is looking for new attorneys as well as the FBI probe into his business, according to multiple reports.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the change, or who would take care of it, but a source told The New York Times, Cohen’s lawyers leave because of a problem with the payment of legal bills.

A source that was not authorized, the matter to discuss and spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity, noted that Cohen has not yet held any discussions with prosecutors about possibly cooperating with the investigation, but confirmed that he is on the search for new advice. Fox News has not confirmed the AP report.

Cohen’s current legal team, led by McDermott Will & Emery ner Stephen Ryan and Todd Harrison, has been working for weeks to identify documents that should be withheld, the prosecutors in the probe, because the attorney-client privilege.

U.S. district judge Kimba wood, Ryan, and Harrison was, along with Trump’s legal team, within a time limit to get to the end of this week, that the work has been completed.

In tweets Wednesday, the porn star Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, gloated about the news and asked how much money Cohen’s lawyers are “soaked” for him.

“So, after Mr. Ryan makes false accusations against me in fed court, he is now Mr. give up Cohen, draws back, his tail between his legs, and goes home?” Avenatti wrote. “Not a good optic and a disaster for Mr Cohen and Mr Trump.”

Avenatti sued Cohen in an attempt, the actress, who is released from a confidentiality agreement.

The lawyers’ reported departure is unlikely that Cohen violated in the proceedings relating to the FBI probe. In accordance with attorney ethics rules, the lawyers usually do not leave your current representations of clients without adequate notice, outlining a valid reason for the court, and the avoidance of impairment or to cause harm to excessively, your customers legal case.

The news comes a day after a Vanity Fair report that Cohen has told friends that he expected to be arrested, to be soon — the Cohen has since strongly denied.


Cohen was hired represented as 2017 Ryan, a Washington lawyer, first of all, to have him prepare congressional testimony about an alleged Russian interference in the presidential election.

After FBI agents raided the Cohen’s office in April was Ryan and his New York partner, Harrison, before the court, to hold to try to be the investigator seeing that some of the seized files to the site, they were protected by the attorney client privilege.

Neither Cohen, Ryan, Harrison immediately responded to messages Wednesday.

When agents searched Cohen’s home, office and a safety Deposit box and seized his mobile phones this spring, they tried a wide variety of information, including its involvement in the organization of a secret 130.000 US-Dollar-payment to the Daniels, who said she had a sexual encounter with Trump years ago.

Cohen has claimed that he is innocent of wrongdoing, and Trump called the RAID on his lawyer, an attack on the attorney-client privilege.
