Metallica will see a new generation of fans who are for the American metal band of interest. According to bassist Robert Trujillo’s ‘the machine re-started.”
“I see that we have a new phase to enter, and that we re-connect with a new generation of metalheads, who expect a lot from us,” says Trujillo in a conversation with Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant.
“I am again proud of my band – which I rarely say, and also not just. I am very critical on myself, on the morbid, but I hear it myself the last time just very, very well.”
Last year appeared Hardwired… to Self-Destruct, the tenth studio album of the American band which on 4 september in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam will be playing.
According to Trujillo that album a new beginning highlighted: “We had nearly ten years of no music released. Not even so much because we had no idea what music we possibly móésten release. But we passed all the fifty and went so focus on other things. Things that we suddenly become much more important went find – family life and so on. It seems at the age to hear.”
