Melanie Chisholm felt depressed as a Spice Girl
Melanie Chisholm don’t want to participate to the reunion of the Spice Girls, because they are not comfortable.
“As a Spice Girl, I was so depressed,” she says against Mail on Sunday. “That I do not want to again experience.”
Chisholm found it difficult in the girl group. “When we have a lot of success had, I could not see myself watching. So awful I felt.” The singer, who is now a own record label and is working on her solo career, had depression and eating disorders. “It feels not good to be back on stage with the group”, she observes.
“In 2007 we had a reunion and we performed during the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in 2012. That was fun and for me a good end,” says the singer who became known as Mel C. “You have to have a time stop. But, I realize that I was always Sporty Spice will remain.”
It bothers Chisholm quite a bit that there is much to be done about its refusal. Especially because everyone there understood that Victoria Beckham also does not participate. “I have no man who is a multi-millionaire and money would best be able to use,” she says. “But ultimately it is not about money. It’s going to feel.”
The relationship with the three girls at the reunion to participate, is what has declined, and new york. “But we’ll come back,” she says. “We have so much experienced. And Emma just continues to my best friend.”
