Melania Trump blasted the media Wednesday for drumming up conspiracy theories, and behind her, almost three weeks from the public.
“I see the media has to work overtime to speculate about where I am & what I’m doing, Melania tweeted. “Rest assured, I’m here in the White house w my family, feel good, & hard work, on behalf of the children and the American people!”

The first lady’s tweet was an attempt to tamp down rumors about their whereabouts since their last public appearance, on may 10. To this date, you joined President trump in the recording of the three Americans, which is released from a North Korean prison camp.
Four days later, the White house announced that the first lady had admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to undergo minor surgical procedures.
Since then, she has been absent from public events, including the Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony in Arlington National Cemetery and the sports and Fitness day in the White house.
But the bill, without prejudice to the first lady’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, said Fox News, that Mrs. trump was involved “in several internal meetings with the staff of the whole of the last week” and “planning events like the congressional picnic, and 4. July.”
Grisham does not say if the first lady would be the next public event.
