Meghan Markle’s father revealed Monday that Prince Harry told him that the President Trump should “give a chance” and the prince has a Trump supporter.
Princess Diana’s former butler struck the British royal family on Tuesday for not protecting Meghan Markle the father said to the media.
Thomas Markle gave an interview with ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” on Monday in which he revealed Prince Harry told him that the President Trump should “give a chance” and the prince has a Trump supporter.
He also called for the staged paparazzi photos posed for prior to the royal wedding a “mistake.”
However, the British journalist Piers Morgan told ET on Tuesday that the 73-year-old actually paid for the ITV interview.

Paul Burrell, who the royal family for several years, including Harry’s deceased mother, was the interview terribly and wondered why Thomas was not better trained to speak with the press.
The 60-year-old said that he nearly “spat my cornflakes out” when he first saw the interview.
“It’s another bomb blindsiding the palace,” said Burrell. “It’s extraordinary that Meghan and Harry did not know that this was going to take place. Why not her father tell her? That gives him PR advice? You just clamped on a large rock in the royal pool, and there are waves, and the waves come.
“The queen is at Windsor Castle in her room now, looking at the papers and think, ‘What happens?'”
Thomas was reportedly paid almost $10,000 for the television to tell-where he spoke candidly about his private chats with Harry.
The decision came a few weeks after he admitted to getting paid to pose for fake paparazzi photos in an effort to improve its public image.
Just a few days before Thomas was set to walk his famous daughter to the altar in the eyes of millions, the former “Suits” actress announced that he would not attend the royal wedding on 19 May after his heart surgery.
It was also revealed that Markle’s father was embarrassed by the recoil after the staged photo shoot.
“Unfortunately, my father will not be present at our wedding,” Markle said in a statement released by Kensington Palace. “I’ve always cared for my father and hope that he can be given the space he needs to concentrate on his health.
“I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Then you know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday.”
Kensington Palace then announced Markle would be walked down the aisle by Prince Charles, Harry’s father.
Burrell wondered why the palace was not informed about Thomas to speak to the media for pay.
“The palace has the biggest PR machine in the world and they may not have the protection of persons who are outside the gates. There is no protocol, it’s never been done before. They do not look after the people in the family. The outsiders are the ones who are the most vulnerable, and that is what I saw in the interview.”
Still, Burrell believed that Thomas meant no harm in sharing his experiences with the world.
“I love him,” said Burrell. “I thought he was vulnerable. I felt sorry for him and I know what’s going to happen. The world are with him on the sidewalk and now they want more. What is the following? [Markle’s mother] Doria (Ragland) are going to sit down here to talk about swapping knitting patterns with the queen?”
Thomas gave in his interview that the paparazzi scandal was “a mistake.”
“I thought it would be a nice way to keep my look,” he explained. “Well, that all went to hell. I feel bad about it. I apologized for.”
Thomas concluded that he was “proud” of the new royal couple.
“I send my love to both of them,” he said. “I could not be more proud of those two and I think they do well. I couldn’t be more happy to have a new son-in-law I love them both like.”
Meanwhile, Morgan insisted that Thomas was paid for the interview, but said that his motive was not money, but to set the record straight.
“It wasn’t about money for him, you can tell that,” he said. “The real motivation was setting the record straight, that are say. He made a number of gross errors, my God, he is punished.
“As he said, it cost him, really the tour to go walk his daughter down the aisle because of all the stress and the pressure of its own bad behavior boiled over, and he could not take the flight. He was very sharp in the interview that it is very commendable of Harry. He said: ‘I love him, he is a gentleman and he protects Meghan, and I appreciate that.'”
Back in May, Thomas debunks claims that he asked his daughter, now the Duchess of Sussex, for money only a few weeks before the wedding.
Tabloids was the 73-year-old crossed the 36-year-old former “Suits” stars for money on at least two occasions earlier this month and Markle refused to help.
Thomas told TMZ the rumor is “just bulls—.” The former Hollywood lighting director said that he is “a decent pension fund” and not need his daughter’s help for you money.
Thomas added that if he did ever have a need for financial assistance, he is certain of Markle would come to the rescue. Thomas also claimed that money is never a topic of discussion between the two, and neither.
