Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to create a new relaxed branch of the monarchy. Here are 7 times the royal couple has broken protocol.

Meghan Markle, the mother of Doria Ragland is not the celebration of Christmas with the British royal family this year, Fox News has learned.

Despite earlier reports insisting that the 62-year-old was invited to spend the holidays with her daughter and new son-in-law, the british Prince Harry, a palace spokesman told Fox News Wednesday that is far from the truth.

“This is not something that we comment on, but we have led that reports suggest Ms. Ragland’s Christmas in Norfolk are made,” said the palace spokesman.

After the announcement, Markle, along with Harry, Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton spotted attending a Christmas lunch for the members of the royal family hosted by Queen Elizabeth II in Buckingham Palace.

The couples were photographed arriving in separate cars to the holiday event.

People magazine reported it is unusual for non-members of the royal family to invite Queen Elizabeth for Christmas. The publication pointed out that despite Middleton engaged to William in 2010, she spent her last Christmas as a single woman with her own family.

The publication added the Middletons have never been a member of the royal family for Christmas. In 2016, Middleton and William chose to celebrate Christmas in 2016 with their children, Prince George and Prince Charlotte in the church with Middleton’s family in Englefield, England, near her parents ‘ house.

However, Markle did her holiday debut with the royals last year before she married Harry in May of this year, a rare break in the tradition.

Ragland traveled to London in September to celebrate the launch of Markle’s new cookbook, “Together: Our Community Cookbook.” It was the first time that she was seen at Kensington Palace since the royal wedding. The Los Angeles native told people during the lunch, she was “head over heels” for Markle and the launch of the book.

In August 2017, the 37-year-old told Glamour magazine her mother was one of the most important women in her life.

“My mother is a yoga instructor, but she is doing social work, and she works specifically with the geriatric community,” said the former “Suits” star. “For me to look at this level of a life-long sensitivity for the care and feeding, but at the same time, my mother has always been a free spirit.

“She has dreadlocks and a nose ring. They ran the LA Marathon. We have so much fun together, and yet, I still have so much comfort in her support. That duality is the way it would in a best friend,” she added.

The former American actress, who became the Countess of Sussex when she married Harry, 34, announced she was expecting her first child in October. The palace said that the couple is “delighted to be able to share this good news with the public.”

Ragland said that they were “very satisfied” after hearing the couple would welcome their first child in the spring of 2019.

“Mrs. Doria Ragland is very pleased with the great news and they look forward to welcoming you to her first grandchild,” the palace said in the announcement about the pregnancy.
