However, even though a lot of eyes were on the royals’ trip, a few eagle-eyed observers could not help but notice that the Duchess of Sussex, was withdrawing from her engagement and wedding ring for the trip.

According to Page Six, the 38-year-old actress left her three-diamond ring (reportedly worth about $295,000), and the matching eternity band at home, instead choosing to wear her Welsh gold wedding band, together with some other decorative gold ring to the value of $250).

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, england, South Africa, and visited the oldest mosque — the 225-year-old Auwal Mosque in cape town. The royal couple kicked off their tour on Monday with a visit to a girls’ empowerment projects, learn of rights and self-defense.

Meghan and Harry’s, a 10-day tour includes scheduled stops in Botswana, Angola and Malawi, with a particular focus on the flora and fauna, and the protection of the health and mine action.
