Piers Morgan slammed Meghan Markle on Australia’s “Today” show.
Piers Morgan is not holding back on his feelings with regard to Meghan Markle.
The British broadcasting company appeared Thursday on Australia’s “Today” show, where he slammed the Duchess of Sussex, and labeled her a “social climber.”
When journalist Deborah Knight asked the 53-year-old as the former American actress “is really bogus and a piece of work” as he called her, Morgan immediately joked, “You know what I’m sorry to have to say that I am afraid that I think she is.”
WILL MEGHAN MARKLE THE ROYAL BABY AN AMERICAN CITIZEN?
“Although some people are really her and are falling for this act I’m afraid that I’m a little hard-nosed actress,” he explained. “They are using people on her way to the top, which is now of course the top, which is to get married in the royal family.”
Morgan claimed he and the former “Suits” star, 37, were friends back in 2016 before she married the british Prince Harry in May 2018, and officially became a member of the royal family.
“I had a few pints of real ale and they had dirty martinis,” he claimed. She said afterwards, in the cabin, ” I had a great time. Love to see you again.’ It was purely platonic I hasten to add. They went in that cab that night to a party Prince Harry was on and the next night she went on the date with him. I have never heard from her again. Ever. I don’t like people who behave like that. It is a little rude. It showed me that they, I’m afraid, is probably a bit of a social climber.”

Morgan claimed he “got to know her very well” over the period of two years, insisting that they “would message each other a lot, email a lot.”
But Morgan shared he was impressed with the way the 37-year-old treated him after she started dating Harry, 34, will immediately disappear.
“Good luck, Harry,” said Morgan. “I hope he knows what he is doing. If it all goes wrong don’t come crying to me. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
This is not the first time Morgan has slammed Markle. In December 2018, he branded her as “fake” after reports came, she was allegedly rude palace staff.

“I have my own experience with her, which was not great, to be honest,” he claimed, as reported by the UK Sun. “I knew her for about a year and a half. I got on really well with her and was afraid, she met someone more important and directly transparent. I have never heard of her ever again, and the old slippery slope ladder was gone and she social climbed her way out of my job.
“So my experience was not great, I have to be honest with you. And everything I’ve seen since does a little smack of an actress, a Hollywood actress, to grab her chance and act her way to the top.”
Markle and Harry are expecting their first child this spring.
