Cindi Creager: “In June 2016, we were contacted by Hannes agent in New York, Michael Bruno, who represents the American model agency Women Management. He was looking for a pr consultant that Hanne could assist in bringing out her story. It clicked immediately between us, and in the months that followed, studied Hanne in the safe environment of our offices its argument. Under our guidance she would eventually grow to become the most well-known intersex person in the world.

For two months we searched, together with the people of interACT (an organization that lobbies for interseksjongeren, ed.) to a tone and language that the general public would understand. Hanne arrived in the meantime, more and more familiar with talking about themselves and the human rights of intersekspersonen.

When USA Today her interview published on 23 January, it spread like wildfire. The millions of articles and posts that are subsequently published, have the awareness around intersex to unprecedented heights. That is Hannes merit. Today she continues her voice and her platform as a model to fight for better legislation that intersekskinderen need to protect against unnecessary surgeries, surgeries that she as a child had to undergo.

Hanne is a brave and passionate person, but also very sweet and soft. Work with her and her team was very inspiring and quite an honor for our organization. Hanne may coaching as an intersex advocate, is one of the most beautiful highlights of our lives.”
