Rory McIlroy plays a few weeks, but, after a pause of no less than three months. The Northern Irish golfer wants his body after a disappointing season, plenty of rest to give back next year in top form.
“I take three months for me to fully focus on myself, on my health and on my game. I see this as a unique opportunity to be on different planes to be better,” said the 28-year-old McIlroy in New York, where he is this week participating in the Northern Trust.
McIlroy won this year tournament. The four-time majorwinnaar and former number one in the world, was plagued by a ribblessure and problems with his back.

The slottoernooi of the European Tour in Dubai that he already has three times won, he saves about.
The Northern Irishman remained in 2017 for the third consecutive year without majorzege. He is fourth in 2011 for the first time at the US Open and was made in 2014 for the last the best at the PGA Championship.
