Max-presenter Martine van Os felt too old for Expedition Robinson
Martine van Os was ever asked to take part in the RTL-program Expedition Robinson, but the 60-year-old Broadcaster Max presenter had no interest.
“When I was younger I had said yes, but it is nothing for me to three weeks with a group to go and who not to trust,” says Van Os, in conversation with the VARA Guide.
“How else is that We are almost there!. It is not my holiday and it’s amazing to me that the participants, preferably with the caravans to each other. And now we come to the eighth season to start I think just for a moment: oh, here we go again. But my interest in people wins it. There are always a few in with fascinating stories. That group process is interesting.”
Of Os went five weeks on the road with the participants in We are almost there!. In that time they need to the trust of the people win.
“Then come the stories themselves. You must above all dare to have nothing to organize. We are staying in a mobile home. (…) A camper would be too much hassle to pose. After five weeks all day with your eyes and ears open running back and forth, I’m exhausted and I want to always be very happy to go home. Delicious on a vacation.”
