Raw video: the Marlborough Police Department will come to the rescue of a hawk that got tangled in a baseball field.

Sometimes, even birds of prey need a helping hoof.

Authorities in Massachusetts has stepped up to the rescue of a couple from last week got tangled up in fishing nets.

The Marlborough Police Department said on Facebook, the incident happened Nov. 6 at the baseball field in the city, which is about 30 miles west of Boston, massachusetts.

A Video posted on Facebook shows the Country, Police Lt Thomas Bryant and the Animal Control Officer, Brittani Carbone to work carefully to free the entangled bird out of the net.

After freeing the bird, Bryant has been seen wearing the hawk on the baseball field.

The bird will be on the field for a moment before flying away.

The police department noted on Facebook, “I’m Sorry Hudson, we won’t be so nice to have Greenery on the Thanksgiving holiday,” which is referenced in the upcoming rivalry football game between Marlborough and Hudson high schools, according to WHDH-TV.
