BERKLEY, Mass. – A girl is in the hope of a cup of lemonade will help to open the doors on its city library.
Mia MaGuire spent Saturday afternoon selling lemonade outside of the Berkley Public Library.
There is a deficit in the budget and in the library and to balance the city budget, the end of the year.
As soon as Mia heard this, she knew that something had to be done.
“I am raising money because the library is closing because there is not enough money. So we donate money and give it to the library, ” said Mia.
