The Democrat senator says, there is no moral equivalence when it comes to laws that deny women reproductive freedom.
Dr. Alveda King, the niece of civil rights icon Martin-Luther-King-Jr., endangered Sen. Gillibrand’s, D Kirsten-NY comments comparison of the pro-life views on racism.
“I need for you to understand that abortion is a civil wrong,” king said, “Fox and friends” on Wednesday. “And, of course, if you are pro-life, you can’t be racist, because they are the defense of life for the most defenseless population on the planet-the little babies in the womb.”
They also accused Gillibrand, a 2020 presidential candidate, of “misleading” people and the “advocacy of the killing of our youngest and our most vulnerable people, who happen to be in the wombs of their mothers.”
Gillibrand, said in an interview on Tuesday that both racism and pro-life were views acceptable, and that abortion is a human right.
