Martijn Lakemeier and Anneke Block together in a short film
Starring Martijn Lakemeier, and Anneke Block again soon to see them together in a movie. They play together with Gaite Jansen stars in the new short film Skogafoss by director Niels Bourgonje.
It is the first time that Lakemeier and Block come together again to show in a starring role since the award-winning jeugdfilm Oorlogswinter (2008). The pair plays again mother and son.
Skogafoss tells the story of the twenties Gijs (Lakemeier), whose trip to Iceland with his girlfriend Hanna (Jones) is disturbed by a phone call with his mentally unstable mother (Block). The pictures found at the end of August, near the Skogafoss waterfall in Iceland.
Northern Film Festival
The film is made in the framework of the fourth edition of the New Competition, the Northern Film Festival. Director Niels Bourgonje won the competition in June a cash prize of 10,000 euros to his plan.
