Mark Ronson has made his apology for saying he does not identify as a sapiosexual.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone on Wednesday, the producer, explains in a comment that he made while he was on ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” in the last week.
“I don’t think of myself as a part of a marginalized community, and I’m sorry if someone misunderstood or took offense to it,” Ronson said.

The 44-year-old went on to explain that during his appearance on the talk show, he was told that there was a segment on the sapiosexuality, and was asked how he felt about it.
After the question of what is the meaning of the word; the word was then described by him as “if you’re attracted to intelligence,” Ronson recalled, adding that his reaction at that moment was: “well, That sounds good. Of course, who wouldn’t be?”
“And they were like, ‘OK, well, Mark Ronson and identifies herself as a sapiosexual, that’s great,” he continued. “And then they proceeded to ask me about Miley Cyrus’ dating life, and I probably wasn’t at the level to talk about it, either, and that was it.”

After the show, Ronson noticed that the comments are heading. “It may sound as if I was on a TV show and be like, ‘Guys, I’ve got good news!’ And the fact that I was going to be, and kind of declare myself as a heterosexual, white male — in the context of a marginalised community, it was terrible for me, just a bit embarrassing,” he said.
He added that, in the first instance, that he was not concerned about his comment, thinking that she was going to be the in the context of the time.
“But that’s not what’s happening on Twitter, and more,” he said.
While Ronson’s appearance on ‘Good Morning Britain’ host Kate Harraway asked Ronson, “Now that we know that you are single, and Mark has been very engaged in the discussion area, you will be identified as a man of intellect?”

“I didn’t know there was a word for it, but I really enjoyed that segment of the industry. We were all arguing in the dressing room with a couple of the producers. And yes, I do feel as though I identify as a sapiosexual,” Ronson said.
Ronson is separated from his wife, the French actress Joséphine de La Baume, in 2017. Their divorce was finalized last year.
The Grammy award-winning artist, is best known for his collaborations with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, Adele, and Bruno Mars.
