Marie Osmond says that her comments about being open to the run of President-elect ‘Donald Trump’ s inauguration were taken out of context.
“Many of you have seen various stories say that I volunteer or that I encounter during the inauguration,” Osmond said in a statement on Twitter. “Let me be clear: I do not have the intention of performing at this inauguration, regardless of who won!”
She added, “I try to stay away from the politics. I am an entertainer. My interview statement was trying to be nice and promote a message of love, not hate.”
