The days of the old Democratic leaders are over, now is the time for the “next generation,” the former Obama-era State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf.
“As we talk to voters, what I’m hearing from Democrats, they will intensify for the next generation of leaders. You don’t want to look back to the front. You are on the search for these new leaders,” Hart said on “The story with Martha MacCallum” on Wednesday.
“I think that explains a lot of what you hear from the people. Are you ready for the next generation to really take the mantle of the party.”
Harf, a former Fox News contributor, now works for the Democratic presidential candidate, Seth Moulton, was addressing the Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden’s campaign and the criticism he has received from the Obama officials.

Obama’s former senior adviser David Axelrod has been critical recently of the Biden campaign.
“Well, he is still the frontrunner. But after his last, shambling week, the new question is: “Can hang Biden?'” Axelrod wrote on the CNN website on Wednesday.
The former spokesperson quoted pointed out their “affection and respect” for Biden, though, there are a number of years since Obama and Biden is already used together.
“Yes. It is interesting. All of us that Biden worked on this Obama-campaigns, as all of us have a lot of affection and respect for him. We have also said to remember, the last campaign they ran together was 8 years ago,” Harf.

Harf also reminded, MacCallum, early surveys, only the numbers are early.
“I think it’s worth it to not remember, Martha, the voters go to the polls, to start picking our candidates to February. The said nine months from today,” Harf.
