Margôt Ros wants to ‘very long’ film of Tower C
Margôt Ros wanted a long time to make a movie of the popular Dutch television series of Tower C, but Ros and co-Maike Meijer are still not satisfied with the script. That tells Ros Friday.
“We are failing to write a script where we are satisfied. It is very difficult to establish a coherent and interesting story to tell and that it was still an hour and a half long and fun it is,” said the 51-year-old actress in the Volkskrant.
For the new season have Ros and Meijer tried to get episodes to make a continuous story in it. “But we found it boring. If you’re the beginning, you already know too much how this episode will end. And if there is anything that we are boring find, is the predictability. So we are starting over again.”
Sunday begins the sixth season of the series. Ros says still the program to continue with Meijer. “Maike and I remain endlessly at each other. What a delicious prospect. If it’s not fun any more between us, then we must quit. But for now, the end is not in sight.”
According to Ros is a film still in the planning, but that will vary of the series.
“I got suddenly an idea about a eenoudergezinscamping. That is and there I am. Three years ago I divorced, so at one point you try, than a holiday. “Boys, this seemed like a movie’, I cried every time I was back.”
“Then said Maike suddenly: ‘Sorry, but this is the film.’ A movie with our humour: a little romkom-like, but with a lot of discomfort.”
