Margot Robbie paid homage to the end of Sharon Tate at the Cannes Film Festival

Margot Robbie pays tribute to the late actress Sharon Tate on the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, by recreating her braided hairstyle on the red carpet.

Tate first went looking at the same event in 1968, a year before she was murdered by followers of Charles Manson in 1969.

Robbie plays Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” which has received rave reviews from critics.

The cast with actors Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, and the director reportedly received a six minute standing ovation after the film premiere.

Of the Academy Award-nominated you are not playing Tate light. To prepare for the role, Robbie said Tate’s family and friends.

“They all said how friendly, sweet and kind-hearted she was,” she told People magazine. “I was fortunate enough to step on with Debra Tate’s blessing, Sharon’s sister.”

When the “Valley of the Dolls” actress was murdered she was eight-and-a-half months pregnant with her first child with husband, Roman Polanski. She was 26 years old.

The braided look was created by Robbie’s hair stylist Bryce Scarlett.
