Maradona sees ‘dream come true’ and will feature in FIFA
Diego Maradona is finally started to work for FIFA. Since June last year, the 56-year-old Spaniard together with chairman Gianni Infantino.
It is not entirely clear yet what Maradona is going to do in the service of the wereldvoetbalbond. Foreign media report that he engages in the promotion of football.
“Now it’s official. Finally comes a dream: to work for a clean and transparent FIFA with the people of football”, writes Maradona Thursday on Facebook. “I thank everyone who I encouraged to this new challenge.”
