Man with jerry cans of gasoline picked up in St. Patrick’s Cathedral New York

The police in New York last Thursday, a 37-year-old man held with two jugs of gasoline, lighters and other flammable liquid into the St. Patrick’s Cathedral inside was gone.

A security employee at the church saw the man running, which the man of the church again, and left. It spilled he gasoline on the floor of the building.

The man was outside the building, standing held by agents. The man hung according to the police an inconsistent story.

“His story was that he by the cathedral, walked to Madison Avenue to go, because he has no petrol in his car,” according to a politiewoordvoerder. “The car turned out after checking it still be enough gasoline to contain, and then we will have him arrested.”

The spokesperson said that agents are extra vigilant since the fire in the Notre-Dame cathedral on Monday in Paris and earlier fires in American churches. The arrested man is originally from New Jersey and is an acquaintance of the police. What exactly he was planning, is not yet known.

In the American state of Louisiana went the past few weeks all three churches, mostly by Americans with dark skin were visited, in flames.

Around 7:55pm, a man walked into St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan with gas cans and lighter fluid, and was subsequently apprehended by @NYPDCT without incident. We thank our partners for their help, and remember – if you see something, say something.
